You get a bird’s eye view from this mountain retreat. Sitting atop 30 acres, enjoy the mountains, fishing and the wildlife. With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, all on one level, you will find everything you need. There are two TV’s, satellite, VCR and DVD. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view or stay inside, still see the views, turn on the gas log fireplace and enjoy a good book or watch a movie. There is a common area with everything you need for a family get together and fishing right on the famous New River. Foster Falls State Park is close by for horseback riding, bicycling, or walking on the New River Trail. Or rent a canoe. There is a wildlife park and a winery close by as well. Located close to I-77 and I-81, this mountain retreat is easy to get to but also very remote. Whether you are searching for a family vacation, romantic getaway, a fishing trip or a girls get together, this is the place to spend your next getaway.

I-77 and I-81 Exit 84

From I-77 and I-81 take Exit 84 to the south east. Travel on Major Graham’s Road 4.6 miles. (Bear left but not on Red Hollow Road). Turn left on Beetle Spinner Road for 1.7 miles(River Hills). Driveway on right windmill decoration at end of driveway with 189 on the windmill.

To get to common area turn left out of driveway go to silver mail boxes. Turn left on Old Cabin Road follow down to the common area with picnic tables and grills, right on the river.

If traveling south on I-77 & North on I-81 take Fort Chiswell exit 80. Go right off exit, south on Highway 52 for 5.7 miles. Go left on Major Graham (619) for 2.2 miles. Bear right onto Bettle Spinner Road for 1.7 miles (River Hills). Drive on right with windmill decoration in yard.

CLEANING POLICY FOR MOUNTAIN HOUSE

1. All cabins are non-smoking. Please do not throw cigarette butts on ground. Please dispose of them properly.

2. We do not allow pets of any kind inside or outside the cabins, no exceptions.

3. Use coasters for beverages to protect furniture.

4. Strip all linens and put in tub/shower along with used towels.

5. Bag all trash and put in metal trash cans.

6. Charcoal Grill: Tenant is responsible for cleaning the grill after each use and before departure. A grill brush is provided.

7. Turn all heaters and lights off when departing.

8. Make sure fire is burnt out before leaving cabin.

Mountan View Cabin Availability:

PAYMENT
A minimum of one night’s deposit or 50% of total stay, whichever is greater, plus security deposit, is required when making a reservation.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A $200.00 security deposit will be collected at the time of your reservation. All rentals require a security deposit. This deposit is security against damage, missing items, long distance phone charges, pay per view charges or excessive cleaning services. The cabin rentals will be inspected after each tenant’s departure. If there are no problems, the security deposit will be returned in full by mail or credit card within 30 days of departure date. If there are problems, you will be sent a letter explaining them and the costs for resolving them. These costs, which will be deducted from the security deposit, may include, but are not limited to, charges for repairs, concealed pets, in cabin smoking, sales tax, etc.

Guest’s security deposits are not refunded at check out.
RETURNED CHECKS There will be a $35.00 service charge for any returned check.

CANCELLATION POLICY
To receive a full refund, you must cancel 30 days prior to arrival date. You will receive a 50% refund if cancellation is 15 days prior to arrival. Less than 15 days notice of cancellation will result in forfeiture of your payment thus far and full refund of security deposit.

LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please check your cabin thoroughly prior to your departure for any personal belongings. We are not responsible for items left behind. If you notice you have left an item behind, please call our office and every effort will be made to locate the it.
